Sir,

RECEIVED

-9 OCT 1935 0. O. REGY

GOVERNMENT HOUSE,

HONG KONG.

7th. September, 1933.

I have the honour to request your approval

for the grant to the St. John Ambulance Brigade, Hong Kong

and China District, of an area of land shown coloured red

on the enclosed plan and measuring about 18,720. square

feet on the terms and conditions of which a copy is attach-

ed. These include a nominal premium of $1.-, a nominal

Crown Rent of $1.- per annum and a covenant restricting the

use of the lot to the purposes of the Brigade.

2.

The Brigade is not incorporated in Hong Kong

and it is therefore necessary to make the grant to certain

specific persons who are named in General Condition 1 and

have duly signed the memorandum of agreement by the pur-

chasers.

3.

The Brigade does much useful work in the

Colony, but they have at present no headquarters.

This

need will be met by the building which they propose to

erect on the site now to be granted to them.

I have the honour to be,

Sir,

Your most obedient, humble servant,

Line

Governor, &c.

THE RIGHT HONOURABLE,
